Beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 19th, 2012. He was 66 years old.Norbert was born on February 26, 1946 in Davant, Louisiana to Bernard L. and Eva (Domangue) Cazabat. He loved all types of sports, but was especially fond of watching football. He was a lifelong New Orleans Saints fan. He loved traveling and spending time with his family and friends.He married Theresa E. Jurek on May 27, 2000, in Dallas, Texas. She survives him along with their loyal dog, McGwyre. Also surviving Norbert are his three children. His two sons; Ian B. (Paula) Cazabat of Wichita, KS and N. Stephen (Shauna) Cazabat of Santa Barbara, CA; and daughter; Petrina M. (Ron) Parker of Wichita, KS. He also leaves behind eight beloved grandchildren, two sisters; Rosaria M. (Ron) Lenox of Ewing, NJ and Alida M. Guidry of Encinitas, CA; as well as two brothers; Maurice A. (Mary) Cazabat of Marrero, LA and Bernard J. Cazabat of Davant, LA. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Marilyn A. Jurek of Saginaw, MI. He is preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Eva Cazabat and his brother David R. Cazabat. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, in the Brooks Family Chapel at North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, TX 75234.
