Charles Edward Jones was born on March 18, 1948 in Texarkana, Arkansas and passed away on April 6, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents R. G. and Izora Jones and a sister, Dorothy Odom.

Charles graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1966. He went on to further his education at Mississippi Valley State in Itta Bena, Mississippi.

His employment includes GTE (Now Verizon) as a Lineman, McDonalds as a Manager, Eagle Lincoln Mercury in Sales, and Owner/Operator of several restaurants including The Steak Company. He was employed with Crossmark at the time of his death.

He leaves to cherish his memory 5 children: Charles (Angela) Jones of Grand Prairie, TX, Quincy (Shakir) Jones of Grand Prairie, TX,Jeremy (Denise) Jones of Arlington, TX,Jessica Jones of Rockwall, TX, Michael Jones of Ardmore, OK. 9 Siblings: Kiril (Ophelia) Jones of Little Rock, AR, Lois (Walter) Berringer of Dallas, TX, Gracie (Willie) Walker of Texarkana, TX, Vivian (Eugene) Martin of Lewisville, TX, Mary (Kenneth) Walker of Texarkana, TX, Debra (Frankie) Elijah of Texarkana, TX, Gwendolyn (Edgar) Piggee of Texarkana, AR, Carlton (Beverly) Jones of Texarkana, AR,Michael (Renea) Jones of Camden, AR He also leaves 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to North Dallas Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday , April 16, 2022 at 2:00pm at North Dallas Funeral Home located at 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, TX 75234
