Cheryl Lynn Bisset, 63, of Cleburne, Texas, passed away Friday, June 12, 2026.

Cheryl was born January 9, 1963 in Los Angeles, California to parents Paul and Jimmie Lancaster and grew up in Watuaga, Texas. She was a loyal and devoted daughter and friend in life. Cheryl went into studying criminal justice and proceeded a life in law enforcement after graduating high school. She was an incredible officer who was full of integrity and complete commitment in her role to protect the public. In her personal life she enjoyed hobbies in a multitude of arts and crafts, she loved creating things for family and friends. She loved music of any genre and could be expected to lure you into a jam session at any time of the day or night. She loved the beach, especially Galveston Island, and she loved her cruises. She loved sharing her experiences with the people she loved, but the thing is - she loved everyone. Cheryl knew no strangers. She also loved animals, and animals loved her.

She is preceded by her husband, Charles. Her parents Jimmie and Paul. Her sister Janie and her brother Chris and niece Tisha.

She is survived by her children; son Kenneth and his wife Olga, daughter April and her husband Travis. Her three granddaughters, Emily, Alana, and Olivia. Grandson Davin. Brother Paul and three sisters; Tami, Diane, and Rena. Nieces and nephews, Amira, Samia, Jimmy, Jason, and Harrison.
