Clara Mae Shoope of Richardson, Texas

Our dear mother, Clara Mae Shoope (née Weber) passed away on July 23, 2024 at the age of 97. She was a strong and wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio she is preceded in death by her husband Rawland (Ron) Shoope, parents Clara and Richard Weber, and brothers Richard, Theodore, Fredrick and Albert. Although widowed at 40 years old, her five children, Sharon (John) Busse, Allen (Patty) Shoope, Barry (Carla) Shoope, Karen Shoope Galvin, and Gregg (Kathy) Shoope, have always been her priority. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Mrs. Shoope spent the last several years of her life living in Richardson, Texas, with her son Gregg and daughter-in-law Kathy. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
