Janet Sue Bennett Cox, Susie, of Grand Prairie, Texas, died on October 13, 2014 at home with her loving husband holding her hand. She was 60 years old. After her 3 year struggle with cancer, God took her home to a place of perfect peace and joy.Susie was a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, and friend. Throughout her life she was well known for being crafty. She loved to paint, sew, crochet, decorate cakes, arrange flowers, and scrapbook, not to mention the hundreds of vacation bible school projects she enjoyed creating.She was a long-time member of Fundamental Baptist Church in Irving, Texas. She will be missed by all those children she taught in Sunday school during her 47 years of service to the Lord. She was instrumental in the development of many young Christian lives.She is preceded in death by her father, Ed Bennett. She leaves behind her husband of 37 years Richard Cox, her daughter Rachel Cox, her sister Julie Sullivan and husband Marc, her sister Mary Audet and husband Paul, mother Janet Bennett, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to:Faith Presbyterian Hospice 4350 Sigma Rd Suite 400 Dallas, Tx 75244There will be no funeral service.A memorial service will be held at:Place: Fundamental Baptist Church 1119 W.
