I got my first professional gig at 17 and never stopped according to the notes she left to help me write this.
She was married to Gary Copher from 1969-1981 and they had a son, Shane Copher in 1970.
Valentines Day 1992 we wed on the air KNON fm radio LIVE and returned to sing every Valentines for the next twenty years.
The Birthday Girl to many friends and family - she LOVED to sing and while we were bandleaders at the Longhorn Ballroom in Dallas, 1987-88- performed with SPECIAL BLEND...opening for Conway Twitty, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Vern Gosdin and many others who would often use our band.
Becky ALWAYS had a party on stage and anyone was welcome to join in.
Before we met, She played Dallas Rock Clubs like GERTIES and Mother Blues with her band ICE . . and could write Country, Soul, Blues. ..Punk.. Rock songs like it was a natural flow.
LOVE to all my friends and family - Well always be together, as we are Spiritual beings, who spend some time on earth as a physical being,
The Worlds Sweetest Receptionist worked 22 years at Murski Breeding Sales, and LOVED singing at their annual Dove Hunt.
Becky and I dont believe in step kids and she leaves behind Eight grandchildren! [Let them figure it out] The oldest, Sarah Elaine..she LOVED more than anything EVER.
Becky died at home May 2nd laughing and smiling as much as ALS allowed. This would not have been possible without the Love and support from our tribe and she felt LOVED through and through.
A Celebration of her Life will be later in May...thank you folks so much.
