Obituary of Dale Bruce Webb Dale Bruce Webb He was born in Streator Illinois 62 years ago. Dale left there in 1979 to serve time in the US Coast Guard. There were many stories he would tell of his time served mostly in St Simons Island Georgia. Upon finishing his time in the military he moved to Waxahachie Texas to be with his sister Linda. He learned the trade of being an electrician and was very good at it. There was a time that he traveled all over the US wiring pizza stores. Dale happened to be in Washington DC when the George Bush inauguration was scheduled to take place. He took a lot of pictures that day, I can tell you. That was one of his favorite memories. Dale was an avid fisherman, and his boat was one of his pride and joys. He would load it up early Sunday morning and be on the lake before sunrise just to watch the sun come up. Sometimes he would drop off a fish or two for our family. Dale and Lisa were married for twenty years when she passed away in 2020. The saying that says that there is someone for everyone was not lost on them. They were good for each other. My brother will be sorely missed, we bought our first canoe together and we had many fun times together. He did not have children of his own so he took my girls under his wing and taught them how to shoot and garden. He liked to have a garden so he could can his own pickles. Dale Webb was proceeded in death by his parents Charles and Evelyn Webb and his wife Lisa Reynolds Webb. He is survived by his older sister Linda Needham, her husband (Gerald) and nieces Carissa Wilson and her husband (Ian) and new daughter Evelyn Grace along with Ariana Gilbreath and her husband (Timothy) and their boys Isaiah and Caulder. Upon his request no mention of other relatives in Illinois will be acknowledged due to estrangement and lack of communication. Death closes the door on reconciliation. All of Dales neighbors knew him and have their stories to tell about some of the shenanigans that he would do. There will be a celebration of life on his birthday at his property. A good word to describe Dale is the word obstinate, right?
