In the early morning of October 17, 2024 Daniel Alvarez kicked the bucket in the most Daniel way possible: peacefully in his sleep. Daniel is survived by his parents (Concepcion Alvarez), his siblings (Cornelia Esmeralda Alvarez and Nelson Rafael Alvarez), by numerous family, friends, co-workers, his dog Cowboy, and his cat George. Daniel was a lover of the arts including film, comic books, television, video games, anime, and music. A man of few words, but if you were lucky enough to get to know Daniel he was likely the wittiest and most sarcastic person you knew.

We are asking those attending his celebration of life to wear your favorite graphic tee and favorite pair of Vans/Converse to celebrate Daniel. The tee should be one that includes a band, movie, show, or cartoon.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to celebrate Daniel's love for animals to the Farmers Branch Animal Adoption Shelter. We will update with information here and at the time of his celebration of life on how to make a donation.

En la madrugada del 17 de octubre de 2024 Daniel Alvarez falleció de la manera más Daniel posible: tranquilamente mientras dormía. A Daniel lo sobreviven sus padres (Concepcion Alvarez), sus hermanos (Cornelia Esmeralda Alvarez y Nelson Rafael Alvarez) numerosos familiares, amigos, compañeros de trabajo, su perro Cowboy, y su gata George. Daniel era un amante de las artes, incluyendo el cine, los cómics, la televisión, los videojuegos, el anime y la música. Daniel era un hombre de pocas y honestas palabras, pero si tuviste la suerte de conocerlo, sabrás que probablemente era la persona más ingeniosa y sarcástica que conocías.

Y seguramente lo estamos avergonzado en estos momentos por decir tanto, por ello, así sin más que agregar, les pedimos a los que asisten a su servicio de celebración de vida que vengan vestidos con una camiseta con estampado favorito para celebrar a Daniel. La camiseta debe incluir una banda, una película, un programa de televisión, o un dibujo animado.

En lugar de flores, pedimos que hagan una donación para celebrar el amor que Daniel tenía por los animales de la ciudad de Farmers Branch Animal Adoption Shelter. Actualizaremos la información aquí y durante su celebración de vida en cómo pueden hacer una donación.
