Glenda Maples Daniels of Dallas, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the age of 61. She was born on December 12, 1954 at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas.Shewas preceded in death by parents, James Maples and Dorothy Burns.She was a longtime resident of Dallas, Texas and attended Dallas area schools. Shereceived a BS degree, with honors,in Business at the University of Texas at Dallas. Glendaworked for Neiman Marcus Direct for 28 years as a linen buyer. She was artistically inclined and worked and designed many catalogues for the Horchow/Neiman Marcus Collections, during her successful career.Glenda is survived byherhusband, Charles Daniels; daughter, Neatherly Holquin and husband, Jamie; grandchildren, Jamie Paul and Nadia; son, Glen Wietzel, grandchild Yulissa; sister, Sher Stevens and husband, Doug; nephew, Jason Soria and wife, Helene; grandnephew, Miles and grandniece, Harper; nephew, Derek Stevens and grandniece, Preslie.Sheloved soul music and dancing to it. Always unpretentious and loving, Glenda was loved by all that come in contact with her. She triumphed over many hurdles in life. She was truly loved by her friends and family and she always put her family first.Glenda is a true believer in God, Country, and basic good of all men. She prayed and worshiped to give thanks for her abundant life.
