Edith Viola Danielsen Larsen, 84, a wonderful wife and mother, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at a hospice in Fort Worth.Funeral: 3 p.m. Saturday at Bethel United Methodist Church, 5000 Southwest Blvd. Visitation: 1 to 3 p.m. at the church Saturday. She served as housemother at St. Dominic's Home in Blauvelt, N.Y., for several years.Edith was a resident of Fort Worth since 1992 and was a real people person. She loved to entertain and her greatest joy was giving to others. She was an avid bird collector and loved to decorate.In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Dorman Larsen, in 2000.Survivors: Brother, Richard Danielsen and wife, Sandra; sister, Eleanor Edwardsen; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a son.
