Katherine M. DeGrow, 85 passed on November 22, 2020 after battling Covid. Katherine was born in Kalamazoo, MI and moved to FL, NC, GA and TX as her husband, Douglas DeGrows career dictated. They comfortably made Richardson their home for 40 plus years.

Katherine was a Mother to three, Amy Caster, Lynda Kingsley and Russell DeGrow. She was blessed with seven Grandchildren and three Great-Grands.

Katherine returned to college when her children were in Middle School and graduated from Mercer University. She later earned her Masters degree in Theology from SMU, and became a Methodist Minister serving several N TX churches including Christ United Methodist, Plano.

Katherine was never better than when she was helping others! Her eyes lit up being a counselor, helper, and friend.

Her treasure was her family. Her favorite place to be was at family gatherings full of food, fun and laughter!She will be greatly missed by both family and friends.

A private family service will be held December 12, 10am at Christ United Methodist Churchs Columbarium, Plano. A Celebration of Life service will be held the following spring.
