Richard (Dick) John DeWolf of Carrollton, Texas, passed away suddenlyon Tuesday, September 14, 2016 at the age of 87. He was born November 12, 1928 in Black River Falls, WI theson of John and Grace DeWolf.This farm boy served in the United States Air Force, where he learned his lifelong trade as an Aircraft Mechanic. He worked at Braniff for 32 years and finished his career at the City of Farmers Branch.Dick is survived by his beautiful, loving wife of 69 years, Dolores, who will miss him dearly; also by his daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy DeWolf, Donna and Phillip Campbell, Debbie Embry, Christy DeWolf, Terri and Mark Booth; 7 grandchildren and their spouses who adored their grandfather, Julie Johnson, Jason and Davuth Bledsoe, Major Andrew (USFA) and Anne Embry, Nathan DeWolf, Mathew and John Wilson; 3 great grandchildren, who loved him dearly, Jacob Johnson, Claire and Stella Embry; 1 sister; numerous nephews and nieces.Our Dad was loved by many long time friends that became part of our family.Visitation will be on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm followed by aRosary at 8:00 pm,in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 2800 Valwood Parkway at Dennis Road, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234 followed by a reception.Interment will be at 1:30 pm at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, Texas 75220.Flowers are appreciated or a donation to Mary Immculate Church in dad's name.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
