Obituary

John DiPasquale passed away peacefully in the early hours of Friday, April 1, 2016, surrounded by family. John was born on November 14, 1946 in Fitchburg, MA, son of Elizabeth (Lelli) DiPasquale and Alfred P. DiPasquale. John lived most of his adult life in Carrollton, TX.John graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1966 and immediately joined the Air Force as an Airframe Repairman. He spent almost two years in Guam repairing B-52 Bombers during the Vietnam War. Shortly after leaving the Air Force, John married April (Rhiddlehoover) DiPasquale on December 5, 1970 in Abilene, TX. They settled in the Dallas area when he found employment with Otis Engineering as a Metallurgy Technician.John focused on his children, coaching multiple soccer and baseball teams, even serving as President of the North Carrollton Little League. He graduated from the University of North Texas in 1991 and became a Quality System Auditor. Education was very important to John and April, and they worked hard to send their children to the best schools in Dallas, including Mary Immaculate, Cistercian Preparatory and Jesuit College Preparatory. He continued his own education and graduated with his Masters Degree from Loyola University.John began his battle with Leukemia in 2004 and received a bone marrow transplant based on a match from the national registry. He and his family encourage everyone to join the Bone Marrow Registry.John is survived by his wife April; son John Jr., his wife Donella, and their children Courtney, Alex, and Anna; son Anthony, his wife Kelly, and their daughter Isabella; son Mario, his wife Amy, and their children Scarlett and Rocco. He is also survived by his brothers Alfred DiPasquale and wife Kathy, Bernard DiPasquale and wife Christine, Tom DiPasquale and wife Ellen, his sister Maryann Deese, extended family, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Judith, and his parents, Elizabeth and Alfred.Friends and family are invited to gather for a Rosary at 10:30 and memorial service at 11:00 on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 2800 Valwood Pkwy, Farmers Branch, Texas. Interment service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please donate to Johns favorite charities, St Judes Childrens Hospital or Food For The Poor.Please send the family condolences and share memories on this website.
