Alexander E. Dodge Jr. passed away Thursday, December 13 2018 at his Carrollton home surrounded by family at 88 years of age. He was born in Orange, Texas and joined the Air Force after high school. Upon honorable discharge, he and his family relocated to Dallas where he attended SMU and obtained a Bachlor's degree. He married Joyce M. Dancy in 1955. He worked as an accountant and retired from Atlantic Richfield/British Petroleum and then spent a number of years working for Placid Oil and a local insurance firm.He is survived by 4 children; D Denise Dodge, T Susan Repp, Sharon D Deiterman, David D Dodge, 4 grand children and 7 great grand children plus step grand and great grand children.Private interment to be held Friday December 28, 2018 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
