Beverly Ann McKinnon Dolby, age 81, was born September 29, 1930, in Mission, Texas, and passed away on Wednesday December 21, 2011, from a lengthy illness.She is survived by three sons, James G. Dolby and wife, Robin, Mark S. Dolby and James O. Dolby III; grandchildren, Christopher M. Dolby, Sarah A. Chavarria and Matthew R. Dolby; great-grandchildren, Connor J. Dolby, Bailee A. Thacker and Justin A. Dolby.She was predeceased in death by her parents, Charles and Mary McKinnon; her spouse, James O. Dolby Jr.; two sons, Stephen B. Dolby and David D. Dolby; and a great-grandchild, Shawn A. Dolby.Beverly graduated from Marabeau B. Lamar High School, and received her B.A. in Interior Design from the University of Houston. She married James Orrin Dolby, Jr. in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on August 20, 1955.She lived in Lake Charles, LA, Lafayette, LA, Midland, TX, Houston, TX, Dallas, TX and made many lifetime friends including Jackie Peters (Dec.), Patsy Price (Dec.), Billie Lindsey, Annell Vereen, Molly Harless, and George and Jeanette Parker.Her hobbies included reading, Bible study, family time, and movies.
