Bobby (Bob) Baucom Duncan, of Dallas, TX, passed away Friday, November 15,2013. Bobwas born in1930in Charlotte, North Carolinatothe lateMyrtle Baucom Duncan and Earl West Duncan.He earned a degree from Gardner WebbUniversity in Boiling Springs, NC.He married Mildred Ceretha House in 1950(?). After many moves during his career with Colgate, they settled in Richardson, TX in 1969. Bob was the number one salesman in the country for Colgate for ten years during his 32 years with Colgate. With his love of sales and never meet a stranger attitude Bob pursued a second career in funeral industry for 28 years. He loved animals and was known for taking them in and and nursing them back to health. His sons and grandchildren were his pride and joy.His wife Mildred preceded Bob in death. He is survived by sons, Bruce of Chico, CA and Marc of Houston, TX; granddaughters and their spouses, Blake and Rachel Phillips of Birmingham, AL, and Joe and Katy Tillotson of Dallas, TX; grandson, Michael Duncan of Houston, TX; great-grandchildren, Avi, Amelia, Kennedy, Lauren, Patrick, and Bullock; brothers and their wives, Jim and Carolyn of Indian Trail, NC, Douglas and Kathryn of Matthews, NC, and Don and Katie of Wingate, NC; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. His best buddy and pet, Little Baby, will miss him greatly.Bob will be taken home to be buried in Monroe, North Carolina. His funeral will be heldthis Saturday at 2pmat Hartsell Funeral Home. There will be a memorial service in Dallason Friday, November 29th at 3pmat North Dallas Funeral Home.
