Allan "Jack" Emerson, age 81, went to be with the passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012.He was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, on December 27, 1930, to Alfred and Irene Emerson. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Grac; son, Alan Emerson; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Sandy Emerson; and daughter, Jeanne Wolfe. He is also survived by two sisters, Bobbie Moore and Joan Whitehouse; six grandchildren, Erik Emerson and wife, Leah, Zack Emerson and wife, Cari; Tyler Wolfe; Kaleigh Emerson; Kyle Emerson; Kellar Wolfe; and five great-grandchildren with one more due any day.Allan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1959 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and was later registered with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. He was a deacon at Royal Haven Baptist Church.Visitation with the family is Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.Funeral services will be on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Royal Haven Baptist Church, 10919 Royal Haven Lane, Dallas, Texas.Burial will be on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Smithville, Texas on Hwy. 95 about 2 miles south of Smithville.Please send the family condolences and sign the guest book on this site.
