Thomas Rogers Emery, 57, of Dallas, went to be with our passed away Sunday, March 27, surrounded by his family. Born in Akron, Ohio, September 1, 1953, Tom was an outstanding husband, father, and friend. He was a master woodworker, and his work was sought by many in the area. He loved coaching his kids in softball, baseball and basketball. Tom was a charter member of the Happy Campers and an accomplished musician. His many other passions included backpacking, mountain climbing, skiing, cycling, and marathon running. Tom is survived by his wife, Monica; his daughter Sarah and son Shawn; his father David Emery and mother Jean Emery; his sister Barb Harroun and her husband Bob; his brother Pete Emery; and numerous nieces and nephews.
