Daniel Robert Estes passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011 in Carrollton, Texas. He was 84 years of age. Daniel was born on June 18, 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri to his parents, Turner and Madra (Seats) Estes.Daniel was an artist and did portrait sketching. He also loved Gold Wing Motorcycles, football, music and singing gospel music. Daniel served in the United States Army and served as a police officer for 27 years and was in the "Officer Friendly Program". When he retired he became a teachers aide in St.Louis.Daniel is survived by his wife, Carol McCotter Estes of Carrollton, Texas; son, David Paul Estes of Chicago, Illinois, daughter, Robin Richee of St. Louis, Missouri; step-sons David Nador of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Michael Nador of Bakersfield, California; step-daughter, Linda Vakil of Carrollton, Texas. He is also survived by sixteen (16) grandchildren and two (2) great grandchildren.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 6:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.Please sign the guest book and send family condolences via this website.
