John C. Everett, age 75 passed away peacefully at his home in Farmers Branch, Texas surrounded by family on Thursday, February 23, 2017.John was born in Harris County, Texas and raised in Mexia, Texas. After graduating high school he moved to Houston, Texas where he met the love of his life, Judy Cooper. They married in May 1960 and together raised 2 daughters, Cindyand Kim. John relocated his family to the Carrollton/Farmers Branch area in 1969 where he began a long career as a property tax consultant. John was actively employed when his battle with cancer began last spring. His greatest joys in life included working in his garden and spending time with his family.John is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy Everett; daughters, Cindy Grieser and husband, David, Kim Eaves and husband, Joe; grandsons Jonathan Grieserand Ryan Grieser; granddaughters, Whitney Eaves Hendersonand Heather Eaves; sister, Doris Pope; and brother, Jerry Everett; several extended family members and a multitude of friends.A Memorial Service celebrating John's life will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 4, 2017 in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
