Marcia Feldberg, 82, died peacefully in her sleep Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Mustang Creek Estates, an assisted living facility in Frisco, Texas.Marcia was born July 17, 1934 in Atlanta Georgia to the late Nettie and David Butler. Marcia grew up in Atlanta and graduated from OKeefe High School before moving to New York City where she worked in the Empire State Building and met her husband Martin Marty Feldberg, now deceased.After marrying Marty, the young couple started their family in Atlanta and then moved to Dallas in 1965. In Dallas, Marcia was a homemaker for many years before returning to school to earn an Associates degree in psychology and then returning to the workforce to work for a bank when her youngest child was in high school and then a Dallas-based plastic surgeon. From there, she went on to become an office manager for a Richardson-based ENT and later a volunteer at a local hospital. In her heart, though, Marcia was an artist who loved to draw, paint, sculpt, and most especially, carve.Marcia is survived by her children, Jan Swaab and her husband Louis, Andy Feldberg and his wife Jill, Gregg Feldberg and his wife Robyn, and her grandchildren: Hannah, Jacob, Logan, Ethan, Joel, Brody, and Landen.Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
