While living in California, she developed the student volunteer program at the University of California at Riverside. The family moved to Dallas in 1972, and Lynda served as Director of Volunteers at Childrens Medical Center for 20 years. Upon retirement, she volunteered at North Dallas Shared Ministries for the next 15 years. Lynda felt blessed to be a Eucharistic Minister and Good Samaritan at St. Rita Catholic Church and was a long time member of the Tuesday Bible Study Womens Group. Lynda loved her family, her faith, classical music, reading mysteries, the beaches of southern California, and nature. She touched the lives of many, and will be greatly missed by her long-time friends.A Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on December 13th at St. Rita Catholic Church, 12521 Inwood Road, Dallas, TX 75244.
