Flo was born on October 24, 1938, in Commerce, Texas, to Lonnie Patterson and Carrie Crocker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Bob Furr; her sisters, Florean Pierce and Jannette Moseley; her son, Larry Ellis; and her grandson, Duane Eddy.

She is survived by her daughters, Billie Eddy and Robbie Davaloz; her son-in-law, Jackie Eddy; her granddaughter, Courtney Davaloz-Sanders and her husband, Shawn Sanders; her great-granddaughter, Emily Harper Sanders; her great-grandson, Justin Eddy and his wife, Amy Eddy; her great-great-grandchildren, Oliver and Amber Eddy; and her brother, David Patterson.

Flo was known for her love of life and her free spirit. She had an infectious laugh and a sassy personality that brought joy to all who knew her. A woman of deep faith, she found strength and comfort through her love of Christ and was a devoted member of Valley Creek Church. She enjoyed reading, cooking, working jigsaw puzzles, and never missed her daily episode of General Hospital.

In lieu of a formal service, Flo requested that her loved ones honor her memory by spending time together, sharing stories, and enjoying a meal at their favorite restaurant.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of VNA Hospice for their compassionate care.
