Mrs. Patricia Flynn, 74, of Farmers Branch, Texas, born and raised in High Bridge, New York; was alifelong member of the Catholic faith. Patricia went home to be with the passed away on the morning of Easter Sunday (March 27, 2016 at 11:33 am) from her home in Farmers Branch.Patricia was born on July 31, 1941 in New York, predeceased by her loving father and mother, Andrew & Margaret Collins, husband James Joseph Flynn II, and two sons Damien and Neil Padrick Flynn.A devoted and dedicated wife and mother, her family will remember her as a loving, vibrant, faithful sincere and strong woman of faith. Involved with many charitable groups and foundations, Patricia was passionate about helping people to achieve their goals. Extending herself to help in any way, and being a teacher of many students, this was reflected in how she taught.Patricia would go above and beyond helping countless dental assistant students when they struggled to understand a lesson. Always willing to stay late allowing some students to make up hours, re-take a test, or just talk, Patricia taught from her heart. She loved teaching and working in the Dental profession, and always had a good story or two to share.Family and friendships were extremely important to Patricia; she cherished and built lifelong relationships. Patricia worked comforting AIDS babies, helped to feed and serve the homeless at charitable kitchens, counseled many troubled adolescents at the Juvenile detention centers, and many other charitable hours of community service that went unmentioned, as this was how she preferred.Surviving Members sons James Joseph III, Andrew Peter and Tom Collins Flynn, all of Dallas TX; Brother Jimmy and (Sarah) Collins, Sidmouth, U.K.; Sister Linda Davollis, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; sister n- laws Mary McGowan, Fountain Valley, C.A., Ann and (Mike) Sinnott, West Pam Beach, FL; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.Funeral Services will be held in Farmers Branch at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, March 31st 2016 10:30am, Rosary service at 10:00 am; Very Rev.
