Michael Bernard Forsythe, 74, passed away suddenly, Saturday, August, 26, 2017, from a heart attack at his home in Dallas Texas.Michael was born April 29, 1943, in Brownsville, Tennessee to the late Bernard E. Forsythe and Cora F. Henry. He was an United States Army Veteran stationed in Germany, then retiring in San Antonio, Texas. He was a longtime resident of San Antonio, working with his father, at their Mercedes-Benz dealership. Mike and Sophie moved to the Dallas area soon after the birth of their first grandchild then became a long time employee of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, followed by State Farm for the few years prior to his passing.Michael was preceded by the death of both of his parents and his brother David Allen.He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sophie; 4 step-children, Stephen A Hurst and wife, Belinda of Fort Worth, Texas, Lisa Chambless of Dallas, Texas, Paul Hurst of Allen, Texas, and Sarah Hurst of Albuquerque, New Mexico; one granddaughter, Cortni Jamerson and wife, Sarah of Elgin, Texas, and one grandson, Jack Hurst of Elk Grove, California; two brothers, John H. and Dwight F.Mike had a great love for his family and was looking forward to the birth of his first great-grand daughter. Mike had great love for, and wonderful companionship with, his canine children as well. Mike enjoyed the outdoors; whether it was camping, fishing, hunting, or just mowing the lawn, he enjoyed spending time in nature.A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday August 30, 2017 in the Brooks Family Chapelat theNorth Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234 .In lieu of flowers, donationsmay be made, in Mikes name, to Legacy Preparatory Academy:Garden Fund, 610 Accent Drive, Plano Texas 75075
