Richard E. Freed of Dallas passed away on Thursday January 4th He was 41 years old. He is survived by his father Gary Freed and step mother Diane Freed of Dallas, mother Renie Quitt of Plantation, Florida, sister Helaine Moore, niece and nephew Alex and Megan Moore of Plantation, Florida as well as many other caring aunts, uncles, cousins , and friends that he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ida and Bernard Freed of Dallas and Mildred Teblum Wizel of Florida.Richard was a loving son who had a deep appreciation for music and a true passion for the Dallas Cowboys. He grew up in Dallas and graduated from Fairhill School and played guitar for a local band named Unknown Figures. He spent a portion of his adult live in Cape Coral, Florida before returning to Dallas in 2012. He will be missed by all who he touched.A memorial service will be held at Temple Emanu-El, 8500 Hillcrest Road, Dallas, Texas 75225 on Thursday, January 9th at 11:00am.In lieu of flowers donations can made in his memory to the Jewish Family Service Food Pantry, 5402 Arapaho Road, Dallas, Texas 75248.
