Words are inadequate to describe the life and spirit of Rich Frick.He was born Richard Fred Frick, in Denver, CO on February 21, 1953 and passed away in Dallas, TX on January 28, 2014.Rich was preceded in death by his mother Marjorie Ochs Mazzie and step-mother Carole Ann Frick.He is survived by his father, Paul Frick; son, Jon Frick and wife Nicole; daughters, Lindsey Zipoy and husband, Nathan; Tobi Schwab and husband, Chad; Erin Cain and husband, Adrian.The grandchildren who filled his heart with love, joy and pride Dylan, Kaimani, Miya, Kennedy, Gavin, Scout, Marli, Skylar and Kayden.He is also survived by his sisters: Paula Frick, Marilyn Zehentner, Sandra Battles and Patti Templeton and husband, Dennis. Brothers: Ron Frick and wife, Katherine; Vince Mazzie ; John Frick and wife, Nancy.He leaves us with many memories, all heartfelt and memorable. Rich was ONE OF A KIND! A story-teller first and foremost, he lived to make us laugh. A sense of humor helps us to get through the dull times, enjoy the good times and cope with the difficult times. We've all lost someone very special, he will be greatly missed.There will be a celebration to honor Rich in St, Louis, MO, date and time pending further arrangements.Rich lived life fully and honorably. He expected the same from all who knew him. To honor his legacy, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.Please send the family condolences.
