Dorothy F. Friedman, 77, of, Dallas, Texas, passed away on January 20th, 2018. Dorothy was a retired Professor of English at the University of the District of Columbia, Washington, D.C. Her passions included literature, cooking, travel and film.She is survived by her husband, Robin Friedman of Washington, D.C., daughters Alison Hayter of Paris, Texas, Amber Simmons of Atlanta, Georgia, and two grandchildren, Catherine and Avery of Atlanta, Georgia.Funeral services are being conducted by North Dallas Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 23rd, at 11:00 am.
