Sheilagh Lee Fulton, 68-years old, died on Friday, July 13,2018 at Faith Presbyterian Hospice Center in Dallas, Texas. She had been fighting a degenerative neurological disease and movement disorder for the past 4 years with more strength and courage than most could. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through these trying times.Sheilagh was born on October 20,1949 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Beverly and Herman Balch. Known for her ease in frequent conversation with even total strangers, she possessed a contagious smile and an entertaining sense of humor. She could light up a room with her beauty and warm giving spirit. Throughout her life she maintained a fun, sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now are being changed by her witness of constant nurturing love and faith. Her signature gift of joy, shown through her constant smiling, laughter, and joking around, will never be forgotten.After graduating from Mount St.Gertrude in Boulder, Colorado, Sheilagh moved to Arlington, Texas . Shortly after, she welcomed her first son, Mark Bradley into the world. Soon she met and married her Husband, David Stephen Fulton with whom she shared a wonderful 46 year long marriage, bringing another son David Jerett Fulton into the world.Sheilagh possessed a true creative spirit, known for her amazing event and travel planning, entrepreneurship, design , photography , illustration , sewing , crafting and cooking talents among many others. She held numerous fascinating jobs in her life including Title, desktop publishing and web design, interior design, professional christmas decorating (she owned a christmas store for a few seasons and decorated known hotels all over Dallas) Event planning for high profile causes, and her own store, Lone Star Diva Designs. She was also a proud Ya-Ya, bringing together a fabulous group of women who she loved and loved her.Sheilagh was an amazing wife, mother and friend to her many loved ones. She showed us her unconditional love every moment of her life and our lives are better for having known her love in our lives.
