Hubert C. Gage, age 92, passed away in his home July 27, 2008 . He was born in Laneville , Texas , on October 17, 1915 . Gage was a World War II veteran who was shot down and served two years as a prisoner of war in Germany . He graduated from the University of Texas with a business degree, and after 35 years with Texaco Corporation, he retired as an executive in New York City and relocated to Dallas , Texas . Gage is preceded in death by his grandson, Ryan Gage Klaveness. He is survived by Evelyn, his wife of 62 years; his two daughters, Gail Gage Klaveness and Dondee Gage Steves; his son-in-law, Ken Klaveness; and his granddaughter, Banner Leigh Klaveness.
