Clinton Dean Seraphim Gallimore, 34, fell asleep in the passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Baylor Medical Center in Carrollton, Texas. He was born May 27, 1981 in Lewisville. Also known as Bubba and Uncle Bubba to his family, Clint is survived in death by his young son, Sebastian, his parents, Harold and Barbara Hinkle and Douglas and Debbie Gallimore of Carrollton. He had four brothers, Jerry Wright, Jr., Heath Gallimore, Douglas Gallimore III, and Aaron Gallimore; and four sisters, Robin Gray, Rachael Gallimore, Kristen Massey and Tara Blunt.Clint was loved and adored by his entire family, and especially his nephews, Garrett, Joshua, Sage, Charlie, William, Austin, Jacob, Alex, Cooper, Elijah, Yusha, and Luke; and nieces, Rubye, McKenna, Deva, Kiley, Megan, and Dasha.Gallimore grew up and attended school in Carrollton, and later earned a degree from the Golf Academy of America in Dallas. He was active in his parish at St. Sava Orthodox Church in Allen, and spent two years at the Monastery of the Holy Archangel Michael in New Mexico. He was an accomplished artist. His primary subjects were the beautiful religious Icons he created as drawings, water colors and wood carvings. He enjoyed the outdoors, and frequently entertained the youngsters on the golf course and other outdoor sports and activities. Clint had a warm heart and a generous spirit.Clints siblings shared some special memories. Robin recalled an occasion when he played soccer as a child and decided to play with the net while waiting for the ball to reach his end of the field; when it finally did, he was entangled in the net and could not break free to protect his goal! Heath remembered a particular golf game in 28 degree weather where he and his brother were the only players on the course. They joked about how hot it was in order to complete all 18 holes. It was a really good day, he said. Doug III remarked that drinking coconut milk and eating sunflower seeds will never be the same. Garrett was particularly impressed by the speed his uncle could drive on the expressway (legally, of course). Aaron shared that Bubba taught him a lot about art, and everything about Tetris.Funeral arrangements were planned under the direction of the North Dallas Funeral Home, with the guidance of Father Photius of St. Savas Orthodox Church, 1501 S. Jupiter Road, Allen, Texas 75002. The wake will begin at St. Savas on Sunday evening, October 4, at 7:00 p.m. with the all-night reading of the Psalter.
