Doyce Lynn Gilmer was born in Prosper, Texas, September 8, 1931. He went to his heavenly home on Sunday, May 31, 2020.He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1983 after 35 years of service.Doyce was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie, of 57 years and wife, Phala of 8 years. He was also preceded in death by his parents, Lee & Goldie Gilmer, his brother Eddie and sister Goldilee.He is survived by his daughter, Jan Offutt & husband, Glenn; daughter, Kathy & husband, Mike; and his son, Doyce & wife, Jill. He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
