George Gomez Jr. was born to Julia Hernandez Alvarez and George Gomez on February 5, 1951 and went to be with his passed away on July 26, 2011. He is survived by his mother, Julia; his sisters, Jovita, Maria and Santa; his brothers, Romaldo and Luis; and many nieces and nephews and extended family members. George honorably served our country and fought for our freedom as a Vietnam Veteran. He was married to Venita Gomez and leaves behind no children. He is preceded in death by his father, George Gomez, and both paternal and maternal grandparents. George will be greatly missed by all his loved ones, friends and family members. Memorial Service and Inurment of Cremains: 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.
