Ronald Byron Green passed away peacefully at Medical City Dallas on Sunday morning, November 3, 2013 at 1:18am with his family by his side.Ronald was born May 28, 1946 in Charleston, WV to Richard Baxter Green and Doris Shelton Green. He graduated from Charleston High School, Charleston, WV and attended Concord University, Athens, WV. He enlisted in the US Navy and was a Corpsman on the US Great Sitkin Ammunition Ship in the Mediterranean Sea.He had the privilege in working with many great associates at Kanawha Valley Bank in Charleston, WV, Dallas Federal S&L, Dallas, TX and Republic National Bank, Dallas, TX. His most recent employment has been a Compliance Auditor with Williams Financial Investment Group in Dallas, TX, in which he was blessed with dear colleagues and great friends.He is survived by his mother, Doris Green Hartwell, step-father, Doyle Hartwell in St. Albans, WV, his daughter Stacey Rayburn and husband Brad, sons Jason Green and wife Lana, Brian Green and Zachary Green, all residing in the Dallas, TX area. Also, his brother Daniel Green and wife Sandi of Okatie, SC, step-sister Anita Hartwell Sims and husband Doug of St. Albans, WV, and step-brother Mark Hartwell and wife Shauna of Houston, TX. He is also survived by grandchildren Tyler and Connor Rayburn and Sarah and Anna Green in the Dallas area. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and close friends such as Bill and Diane Shelfer of Rio Rancho, NM, Jerry and Kimberly Cooper, UT, and Dan and Dina McPherson of Dallas, TX, in which he shared some of his favorite past times on his Harley Motorcycle trips together.The family would like express a special thank you to Seasons Hospice nurse Karen and another special care giver, Ms. Laura. Both of these ladies truly made a difference in his life and our families.
