Latonya Carol Griffin-Thornton of Little Elm, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018, at the age of 59. Latonya was born on May 13, 1959, in Dallas, Texas. She was one of 7 children, 4 girls and 3 boys. Tonya was a resident of Dallas for more than 50 years. She worked as Assistant Director of a Daycare for many years and Owner of Tonias Catering. She also was a member of Hamilton Chapel Baptist Church where she served as Director of the Choir. The family will be receiving visitors for viewing and visitation on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.A graveside service will be on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at 10:00 am at Laurel Lane Memorial Park, 6000 S R L Thornton Fwy, Dallas, Texas 75232.
