George Gordon Grimmer III, age 32, died from head injuries suffered at his home in McKinney, Texas on 11 October 2012. He died in the Baylor Hospital Trauma Unit at 4:45 p.m. surrounded by family and friends.George is survived by his parents,Susan & George Grimmer, Jr.; brother, Geoffrey; his grandparents, Glenna & George Grimmer and Peggy & Gerald Fournier; aunts and uncles, Becky Grimmer & David Bee and Betty & Brian Fling.George attended Texas A&M University in College Station and the University of Texas at Dallas earning a B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering. For the past 5 years he has worked for Raytheon Corporation in McKinney, Texas.At the time of his death, Georgehad everything going for him. Hehad a job he loved, co-workers herespected and who respected himand many wonderful friends. Hehad recently been assigned severalnew projects at work that he was excited about and he was attending a Leadership Development program.On Tuesday, October 16, at 5p.m., there will be a rosary said for George at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 12041 Bittern Hollow, Austin, Texas.A funeral Mass will be celebratednext Saturday, October 20, at 6:30p.m., at Mary Immaculate CatholicParish, 2800 Valwood Parkway,Farmers Branch, Texas.
