It is with much sorrow we share with you the passing of our loving son, brother, and friend. Gannon was born on February 13, 1971 and died November 2, 2012.Gannon was proud to serve our country a total of 16 years; first as a Corporal 1st class United States Marine, and more recently as a Specialist E4 in the United States Army National Guard. Wounded overseas in Iraq, he was honorably discharged and returned home to the state of which he was so proud to be born and raised, Texas. His joy in life was his family, and he never failed to demonstrate the intense love he had for all of us. He doted on his little sisters, nieces, and nephews and never let pass an opportunity to make someone feel special. He had creative talents that were expressed through drawing, painting, and wood carving. He had a passion for movies and music, but also enjoyed cooking, dancing, fishing, football, and bringing a smile to the face of everyone who knew him. His faith was strong; and his love for all God
