Hailey, Jerry Norris died at the age of 78 on October 14, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Metta Hailey of Farmers Branch, Texas, sons Jeffrey Hailey and wife Cynthia of Flower Mound, Texas, Jim S. Hailey and partner George Pelletier of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Dallas, Texas, sister-in-law Madeline Keebler of Greeneville, Tennessee, cousins Joan Hightower of Winters, Texas and Bob Allen of Corpus Christi, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Earline Hailey of Abilene, Texas. Jerry was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Farmers Branch, Texas. He was a veteran of the Korean war and a graduate of Midwestern University in Wichita Falls. Jerry retired after 34 years as a pharmaceutical representative. Burial will take place in the family plot at Abilene, Texas on October 17, 2009. A memorial service will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, Farmers Branch, Texas on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 2:00pm.
