Betty Evelyn Hamilton of Frisco, Texas was born the 7th child of 9 to Otto Lamar Hamilton and Sallie Murphy Hamilton on November 26, 1925 in Dallas, Texas. She departed this life on Tuesday, December 17, 2019.Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Louis, Floyd, William, Carroll, and Forrest; and her sisters, Lois and Lucille. She is survived by her sister, Helen Nowell of Little Elm, TX; nephew, Greg Nowell and wife, Pam of Little Elm, TX; Homer Hamilton of Decatur, TX; Jim Hamilton of Salt Lake City, Utah; and nieces, Kathy Hamilton and Janet Bittner both of Plano, TX, Nancy McMahan and husband, Tim of Mesquite, TX; and Suzzie Hubbel of Bridgeport, TX.Betty will be remembered for her natural curiosity, her love of books and life-long learning, a smile that could light up a room, and an uncanny ability to make family and friends feel special. As a child she received a bit of advice from her grandmother that served her well throughout her long life Always remember you are from good stock, be proud, clean, truthful, and do your best.
