Jill Karen Pairsh Harrell of Farmers Branch, Texas passed away onWednesday, January 18, 2017 at the age of 74. She was born on August 16, 1942 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to her parents, John and Patricia Pairsh.Jill is survived by her husband of 59 years, Fred Harrell; her daughter, Debbe Harrell Chandler; her sons, Jeff Harrell and Scott Harrell; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.She enjoyed a rewarding career with the Federal Government in the Bureau of the Census; she loved her job and the great people she worked with for over 20 years.Jill very much enjoyed her days off playing golf with her friends followed by a rousing game of gin rummy, but her favorite pastime was teaching her grand kids and great grand kids to swim.She was a wonderful wife, mom, granny, GG (great granny) and will be missed by all who knew her.A Requiem Mass followed by a reception will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Matthias' Church located at 3460 Forest Lane, Dallas, Texas 75234.The family would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the staff of dedicated caregivers and The Villagio of Carrollton and North Park HC in McKinney for the wonderful care they provided.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made in Jill's name to a cause involved in finding a cure of Parkinson's disease such as:The Michael J.
