Maurice M. Harrison passed away on Friday, October 5, 2012.He was 92 years old and had beenmarried 57 years to Adlene Harrison.Maurice leaves behind manygood friends and family who will alwaysremember his keen sense ofhumor and beautiful smile. He attendedthe University of Minnesotauntil enlisting in the Air Force duringWWII, where he became a navigator.Maurice was born on September18, 1920 in Detroit.He waspreceded in death by his parents,Charlotte and Maurice Harrison,and his sister, Janis Stein. Mauricelived a wonderful life and is survivedby his wife, Adlene, and hischildren, Scott and wife, Sun, Amyand partner, Martha, and Jane and husband,Ariel; as well as his nieces andnephews, Charlotte Sigman, Robert,Louis & David Stein, CarolynStone, Steven Feinberg, Nancy Nathanson, PaulNathanson; and sister-in-law, MaxineNathanson.The family thanks thedevoted and tireless friends andneighbors, and the loving staff ofthe Legacy at Preston Hollow.Maurice adored his family and hisprofession. He was given manyawards in the commercial buildingfield and made many friends in histireless effort of service to his field.A memorial service will be held at3:00 PM, Sunday, October 7 in Lefkowitz Chapel atTemple Emanu-El 8500 Hillcrest Road Dallas, Texas 75225 . A private familyburial will be at the TempleEmanu-El Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the personal direction of John P. Brooks and Charles E. McCoy.
