Bobby Wayne Herndon of Garland, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the age of 77. He was born in Dallas, Texas on November 5, 1940 to parents, Raymond and Jewel (Edwards) Herndon.Heis preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Jewel Herndon; brothers, Charles Herndon, and David Herndon ; and sisters, Betty Harris and Nancy McKenzie.Bobbyis survived by his sons, Kevin Herndon and Brent Herndon; brothers, Ray Herndon and Johnny Herndon and Don Herndon; sister, Billie Herndon; 2 granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.Bobby served in the United States Army.Family will be receiving visitors on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.Celebration of Life service, also at the funeral home, will begin immediately at 11:00 am following the visitation.There will be a procession to DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211 following the funeral service, where there will be interment services with military honors for Bobby..Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
