John David Dave Holloman, 79, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, February 18, 2018.He was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 05, 1939 and was raised in Dallas, the son of Clyde and Betty Holloman. Dave was a lifelong resident of the Carrollton/Farmers Branch area.Dave attended Highland Park High School and graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station in 1960 with a bachelor's degree in Accounting.Dave had many hobbies including Amateur Radio and was licensed as an Extra Class Operator and supported the local radio club until his health no longer allowed it. He loved the many activities, conventions, and most of all the camaraderie of his fellow hams including his Uncle Ben. Dave also enjoyed driving the trails with other Jeep enthusiasts.He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Vicki Holloman; his son, Jason; daughter, Shari; and grandson, Colton; as well as many other close friends and family.A visitation (10:00 am - 11:30 am) and funeral service (11:30 am) will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 in the Brooks Family Chapel of the North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234.
