Henry Lewis (Hank) Hoover was born in Middletown, Ohio, on September 14, 1938, and passed away in Dallas, Texas on November 21, 2011.He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mildred Hoover; his son, Richard Allen Hoover and his brothers, Michael and David Hoover.He is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Ann; daughter, Mary Helen Edwards and her husband, Gary, of Sunbury, Australia; son, Michael Scott Hoover, and his wife, Emily, of Kohala Coast, Hawaii; grandsons Carson Alexander Hoover and Cole Richard Hoover; mother-in-law Ruth Garris; sister and brother-in-law Shelly and Justin Cappers; sisters Mary Ann Long of Middletown, Ohio; Rita Rose Bourgeois of Mobile, Alabama; Kathleen Yoder and husband, Bob, of Beaumont, California; Polly Hoover of Tucker, Georgia; brother Steve Hoover and his wife, Joyce, of New Orleans, Louisiana; and sisters-in-law Sharon and Lois Hoover.Hank graduated from Bishop Finwick High School in Middletown in 1956 and received a B.S. degree from the University of Texas in Austin in 1978. Among his many other colorful occupations, he worked for SPR, Inc. on the Y2K project. He retired at the age of 62. He and Ann were married at Schreiber Memorial United Methodist Church on September 12, 1998. He was a faithful member and extremely serious about matters of faith as it pertains to life.Hank
