William Frederick Howell of Richardson, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012, following a brave battle with Alzheimer's disease. He was born November 14, 1926, in Dallas, Texas. After graduating from North Dallas High School he served in the United States Navy during World War II. He attended SMU, and worked as an accountant for Sun Oil Corporation for 33 years.He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mabel Ruth (Toland); his son and daughter-in-law, Rona nd Joni Howell of Richardson; his grandchildren, Ben Howell of Richardson, Erin Howell of Houston, and Leslie Howell of Austin; his brother and sister-in--law, Ken and Linda Howell of Garland; and a host of nieces and nephews.A private service will be held prior to interment at the DFW National Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Lindan Park Health and Rehabilitation Center for the loving care and support they have provided during the past year.
