John Edward Hula passed away peacefully in his Texas home on Thursday, March 24, 2016.John was born on August 20, 1937 to Edward and Evelyn Hula in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Shaker Heights High School in 1955 and went on to receive a B. A. in Business Administration from Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts. John excelled in college sports and earned varsity letters in soccer, track and basketball. He was employed by Greyhound Lines, Inc. as a senior claims manager for 25 years, working in Cleveland, Ohio, St. Louis, Missouri and Des Moines, Iowa.He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marcia Ringl Hula, daughters Patty (Steve) Bachellor of Allen, TX and Laurie (John) Varley of Adrian, MN, three grandsons Blake Bachellor, Colin Varley and Nathan Varley, granddaughter Ali Bachellor and sister, Judy Hula Kuechle of Sunnyvale, CA.A private family memorial will follow interment.For you will go out with joy, and be led forth with peace.
