Ioan Timofte, 83, of Carrollton, Texas, died on Thursday, September 11, 2014. Ioan is survived by his sons, grandchildren, sister, brother-in-law and sister in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, in the Brooks Family Chapel at North Dallas Funeral Home, Farmers Branch, Texas.

Funeral Service: 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at the funeral home with Father Gabriel Liviu Popa, of St. Mary's Romanian Orthodox Church officiating. Burial to follow in Furneaux Cemetery, Carrollton, Texas.
