Margaret Elaine James, 65 left this world to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday April 1, 2016 with her family by her side. Elaine was born June 5, 1950 in Dallas to her father, Hubert Simpson Wertz and mother, Daisy Merrell Wertz. Elaine retired from UTD Dallas in 2014. She was an active member of CornerstoneChristian Church and her favorite pass times was worshiping her Savior, spending time with her family, helping those in need, ministering and touching the lives of others was her specialty.She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents andher brother, Paul Leonard Wertz of Jacksonville, Florida.Elaine was a blessed wife, mother, grandmother and sister.She married Donald Gene James on August 20, 2005 and lived in Dallas.She is survived by her husband, Donald Gene James of Dallas; daughters, ElizabethAnn Byard and husband, Rick of Dallas, Julia Marie Switzer and husband, Kevin of Woodbine, Kansas,Carla Lyn Pratt and husband Todd, of North Richland Hills; stepsons, Paul Damon James and wife, Carmela of Dallas,Joel Cameron James and wife, Rene' of College Station; sister,Ann Marie Wertz of Royse City; brother, William David Wertz and wife, Lori of Springfield, Missouri;uncle, Elmer David Pugh and wife, Kaye; 7 grandchildren and many other family members.A Memorial Service for Elaine is set forApril 23, 2016 at 5:00 pm atCornerstone Christian Church,2700 Christian Parkway,Farmers Branch, TX 75234.Elaine is and will forever be missed by us all.
