Jennifer Coriell Park Winner
October 6, 1946 - March 11, 2025
Jennifer was born October 6, 1946 as the third of four daughters to Norman & Etta Mae Park in Doylestown, PA. In 1949, the family moved to Moorestown, NJ where she spent her childhood & early married years. Jennifer graduated from Moorestown High School in 1964. Two years later, she graduated from Endicott Junior College in Beverly, Massachusetts with a degree of Associate in Science. She majored in Fashion Design, and her first job out of college was at the exclusive Lillian Albus dress shop in Haddonfield, NJ where she worked as a sales representative, Junior Dress Buyer and Fashion Coordinator until 1973. In 1968 she married her high school sweetheart Wayne Winner, oldest son of Maurice & Ruth Winner of Pleasant Acres Farm. They began dating as sophomores and their deep devotion to one another lasted the next 63 years. She always said that she fell in love with the right man, and they built their marriage on trust, faith and love. In 1974 Wayne was transferred to Orlando, Florida where their first son Gordon Maurice was born in 1976. They relocated again to Dallas, TX later that year, and their son Kevin Coriell was born in 1977. The joy of Jennifer's life has been wrapped around her husband, their sons and their five grandchildren. Jennifer has been a member of Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church since 1982 where she and Wayne taught several years of Sunday school. Jennifer was always involved in PTA from Spring Creek Elementary to Westwood Jr. High and through Richardson High School and served on the board in various capacities throughout her sons' school years. Through these years, she fostered many essential, loyal and life-long friendships. Jennifer worked beside her husband Wayne as he founded TechScape Inc in 1984. She managed the human recourse department, payroll, accounting and other office procedures until 2010. Jennifer & Wayne enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Alaska, Ireland, Italy, Europe, the Caribbean, St. Croix, Cancun & the Bahamas as well as our beautiful United States. Jennifer remained dedicated throughout her life to nurturing the the deep and loving relationships that made up her extended community. After five challenging years of battling Leiomyosarcoma cancer, she passed away peacefully in her home on her mother's birthday March 11th.
Jennifer is survived in death by her husband Wayne after 57 years of marriage. She was cherished Mother to Gordon Winner of Colorado, his wife Jody Swigris Winner and their two children Elijah & Hannah; as well as her son Kevin Winner, his wife Rachel Strange Winner and their three children, Julia, Emerson and Luke. This family of loved ones and grandchildren were truly her greatest source of happiness. Jennifer is also survived by her three sisters Nancy Morton, Kathleen Donnan and Marilyn Sams and their loving families, in addition to her sister-in-laws Susan Winner and Nancy Winner Brooks & husband Mark Brooks and their families. This close-knit family brought joy, and laughter and many loving blessings to "Our Table" over a lifetime together. One of Jennifer's favorite places was Onawa, Maine where she shared a rustic summer camp with her three sisters, their families and her parents before their passing. The annual family reunions would often amount to 40 plus members and still carry on to this day. It was the family's utopia, her get-a-way. Fun for all and all for fun and her hope is that the families will continue this heart-felt tradition for generations. Jennifer & Wayne also enjoyed 33 years at their special Cedar Creek Lake house. Throughout Jennifer's life, she remained committed to the path of loving, welcoming and caring for all those around her.
There will be a memorial service in Jennifer's honor on Monday, April 7th, at 11:00 A.M. at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church, 9800 Preston Road, Dallas, TX 75230.
