Obituary

Judy McCall , 84, passed away on April 20, 2025. Judy was born in Dallas, Texas on

April 16, 1941.

Judy mostly grew up in Oak Cliff and went to Sunset High School until her senior year

when her father was transferred to Puerto Rico in 1958. Judy graduated from St. Johns

Prep School, Santruce, Puerto Rico. Afterwards she studied at Universidad Del

Sagrado Corazon. She then briefly lived in Miami working at a radio station.

Judy, along with her family, returned back to Dallas where she started teaching

ballroom dancing at Arthur Murray studios. She taught until her eighth month of her

first pregnancy with her daughter, Cheryl.

She became a homemaker and had a second daughter, Teri. Later, as she was raising

her children, she became a Campfire leader for a fun group of young girls and they had

many activities and adventures. Eventually, she and her family moved to Garland, and

also lived in N.Dallas. She worked in downtown Dallas for many years at Dresser

Industries and then went on to work for Netherland, Sewell & Assoc.(NSAI).

Then in 1987, she moved to Red River, NM for 15 years, working at J. Griffin and

Company, and then returned to the DFW area living in Carrollton, Burleson and settled

in Plano for her last years.

Judy loved shopping, gardening, and reading but most of all treasured music, singing

and dancing, spending time laughing and having fun with her family and friends. She

also adored the cats and dogs she had over the years.

Through her faith, she was ready to go home to be with the Lord whom she loved so

much, with no more pain and struggles.

Judy lived a full life. The many memories will live on through those who knew her. She

will be missed and cherished by all who loved her.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Fullen McAllister and son-in-law, Mike

McAllister; Teri Fullen Marriott and son-in-law, Ricky Marriott; four granddaughters and

their spouses; three great grandchildren with two more on the way; her sister, Pam

Coleman and two nieces and a nephew along with their children.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry McCall Jr. and Wileta Gee

Gathings McCall.

The family would like to give thanks to the many people and caregivers that helped

provide love, care and support throughout her life, especially in her final years.
